Guest Relations Attendant (Seasonal)

Function:

The Guest Relation Attendant will be responsible for meeting, greeting, and assisting guests by answering inquiries, selling tickets, and marketing the products, services, and programs of Kinosoo Ridge Resort.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Answer guest inquiries in a prompt and professional manner by telephone, e-mail, and in person, as well as refer guests to appropriate individuals/departments for further assistance.
• Assist in developing Guest Relations in a professional manner, while providing quality customer service to provide a positive guest experience.
• Sell tickets, passes, gift cards, and any other resort product, as well as promote special events.
• Assist in daily cash flows by completing and balancing daily cash outs.
• Organization and filing.
• Inventory tracking.
• Assist with events.
• May be cross trained as cashiers for the kitchen to provide coverage.
• Ensure all rules, regulations, policies, and procedures are followed in a consistent manner.
• Perform other related duties within the scope of the position as required.

Qualifications:

• Excellent customer service skills, with previous experience in a customer service role considered an asset.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience with Guest Relations will be considered an asset.
• Excellent sales and cash handling skills.
• Basic math skills.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Detail oriented and well organized.
• Personable and positive attitude when dealing with customers.
• Ongoing commitment to safety.
• Obtain a full Vulnerable Sector/Criminal Record Check.
• Must have a flexible schedule with the availability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays.

Working Conditions:

• High customer volume; required to work with customers of all levels.
• Length of day may vary depending on customer demands, project deadlines and seasonal patterns.
• Fast paced environment.

Physical Requirements:

• Required to stand for extended periods of time.
• May lift or carry items up to 25lbs.
