Role overview

Join our diverse team as a Guidewire Functional Lead and deliver to the forefront landscape of insurance technology. You can work closely with multi-functional teams to deliver high-quality software products. Your responsibilities will involve applying your Guidewire Claim Center configuration, integration, and customization expertise to streamline insurance processes, enhance system functionalities, and ensure a flawless user experience. What you’ll do

• Co-ordinate with Product Owners to define the requirements and writing acceptance criteria for user stories.

• Co-ordinate with Development team, testing team for successful completion of the user stories.

• Participate in Requirement gathering sessions and capturing requirements.

• Participate in PI planning, Sprint planning.

What you bring to the role

• Overall IT experience of around 15+ years

• At least 7+ years of Project Management experience in product and technologies

• Very good exposure in GW suite of products - Claim Center in various nature of programs, implementation, upgrade, BAU, state roll outs Cloud implementation etc.

• Experience in Insurance core system transformation programs

• Knowledge and experience with Agile techniques

• Ability to manage distributed team resources to deliver on tight timelines.

• Excellent written and verbal communications skills with a 'how I can help' attitude.

• Expertise in Project management and common communication tools (Jeera, Agile, DevOps, Rally, SharePoint, Google Drive, Basecamp, Mavenlink, etc.)

• Hungry, hard-working and passionate person who thrives in a fast-paced, growing environment. Keeps a cool head under pressure.

• Associate should have good understanding of Insurance Domain.

• Associate should have good stakeholder management skills.

Working arrangements

We believe hybrid work is the way forward as we strive to provide flexibility wherever possible. Based on this role’s business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring two days a week in a client or Cognizant office in Mississauga, ON.
