We are currently looking for an experienced Hair Stylist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be ambitious while having a passion for creating unique and beautiful hairstyles, a commitment to learning the latest hairstyling trends/techniques, and a keen eye for detail. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality services such as haircuts, styling, coloring, balayage and blow-drying. They must also be able to provide excellent customer service and build relationships with clients.

Responsibilities:

• Provide excellent customer service and education on post-hair care.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including sanitizing tools and equipment.
• Be knowledgeable of the latest trends in hair styling.
• Be able to use various tools and products to create desired looks.
• Be able to communicate effectively and respectfully with clients and colleagues.
• Perform a variety of hair styling services for all types of hair; including cutting, coloring, highlighting, balayage and perming.
• Keep up-to-date on new techniques and products.
• Perform retail sales of hair care products and recommend appropriate products to clients.
• Be reliable, inclusive, supportive and respectful to all clients, staff and management.

Experience:

• hair styling: 5 years +.

License/Certification:

• hair styling license (mandatory).

Work Location: In person.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Freelance

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
