About us!

Community Soccer, Baseball & Flag Football programs operate in the summer at multiple sites across the City of Hamilton and surrounding communities. At each location the team of up to 24 part-time coaches lead weekly classes and coach teams of children ages 17months to 15yrs. With 4000 weekly participants (in 2023), we are the largest youth sports program in Hamilton!

• Soccer classes & Leagues (18mo-17yrs)
• Baseball classes & Leagues (2yrs-9yrs)
• Football classes & Leagues (5yrs-14yrs)

Job Requirements

• Availability between 4:00pm and 8:00pm Monday-Thursday evenings
• Availability between 8:15am and 12:15pm Saturday & Sunday mornings
• Experience working with children and the public is an asset
• Sports coaching/playing experience is an asset
• Capable of working outdoors in various weather conditions
• Capable of lifting 20-40lbs
• Team player and good communicator
• Standard First Aid & CPR-C
• Vulnerable Sector Police Check
• 100% attendance

Salary and Additional Information

• Part-time hours (maximum of 23 hours a week based on 6 day a week schedule)
• Monday-Thursday evenings, Saturday and Sunday mornings.
• Locations in Hamilton, Ancaster, Stoney Creek, Waterdown and Dundas
• Most locations are easily accessible by public transit but own transportation is required for some.
• May 13th - August 29th, 2024
• $18.00-$19.00/hour on an increasing scale
• Fun team events throughout the summer
