Make your mark for patients
We are seeking an experienced Territory Manager with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding territory business and market share objectives, to optimally manage the assigned territory.
About the role:
Amplifies and strengthens the matching of UCB therapeutic solutions with appropriate patients in assigned accounts and territory through strong collaborative relationships with key HCPs.  Ensures UCB Operational Compliance to the highest professional standards.  The expectation is that compliance is a part of how we operate.  Adherence to compliant behavior is an expectation at UCB.
Who you’ll work with:
As part of a multidisciplinary team, continues to develop knowledge of the business to fully understand the healthcare and competitive environment.  Coordinates stakeholder management, provides regular feedback to internal stakeholders and colleagues of the HCP partner team on market situations and field intelligence that could impact business.
What you’ll do:
-Possess a high level of product, competitive, customer and territory knowledge and acts as primary point of contact for HCPs, with primary focus on Dermatologists.
-Through strong business relationships with HCPs, and deep knowledge of UCB solutions, communicate key benefits to targeted customers to support product positioning and drive patient value through quality face-to-face and virtual customer interactions.
-Develops and ensures optimal implementation of territory business plan, sales analysis, and allocation of promotional resources.
-Defines, develops, and executes impactful tactical plans and HCP learning programs, including speaker programs and other educational events, designed to enhance HCP knowledge and experience with UCB products, drive customer engagement and value, and meet the needs of patients.
-Effective utilization of approved omni-channel marketing tools and clinical studies to advance the understanding of the science supporting marketed products and indications.
-Organize and coordinate promotional speaker programs and other educational events to meet customer needs.
-Complete administrative tasks, including timely and accurate expense reporting, training, and adherence to corporate compliance regulations, creating, and updating target physician lists, accurately register and report physician calls and insights in the CRM system.
-Travel within the assigned territory on a routine basis; some overnight travel is required to see all target customers; on occasion, the Territory Manager will be required to represent UCB in business functions such as, conferences, congresses that may require being present during weekends.
 
Interested? For this position you’ll need the following education, experience, and skills:
-Bachelors’ degree in health sciences, business or related field is required.
-Strong collaboration and interdependent partnering skills to work closely with multiple internal business partners to include HCPs (Primary focus is Dermatologists / Internists), KOLs, AHPs, nurses, pharmacists.
-Excellent oral and written communication skills.
-Position territories are based in British Columbia & Manitoba; a qualified candidate must reside in the geographic boundaries of the territory (Greater Vancouver Area) and have a valid driver’s license.
-Relevant biopharma sales experience (5 years) will be considered, and experience selling in Immunology/Dermatology.
-High personal motivation with a customer-service orientation and an entrepreneurial mind set.
-Comfort and competencies in virtual engagement and omnichannel strategies.
 
Expected Salary Range: 120,000 – 135,000 (CAD) based on experience plus corporate bonus plan.
