HDPE Fabricator

Under the direct supervision of the Shift Supervisor, the Fabricator will be responsible for participating in tasks related to the fabrication of custom products, including :

As a Fabricator, you will actively participate in tasks related to the manufacture of custom products. Your responsibilities will include:

• Handling products required for the manufacture of custom products, such as bells, gaskets, saddles, etc.
• Correctly identify manufactured products and interpret drawings and specifications.
• Make cuts according to plan and specification.
• Assemble parts by fusion process according to the planned configuration.
• Ensures product quality during production and completes product release reports.
• Work with the team to maintain a clean, safe and productive work environment.
• Contribute to team development by adopting a positive attitude and fostering collaboration.
• Work closely with internal stakeholders, including Plant Manager, Plant Supervisor, Melt Team Leader and maintenance personnel.
• Adhere to applicable health and safety standards and promote a safe work environment.

REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma or equivalent, with good reading, writing and math skills.
• 3+ years experience in welding, assembly or relevant trade.
• Ability to work with metric measurements and interpret blueprints.
• Good physical condition to perform physically demanding tasks.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Knowledge of health and safety standards, including WHMIS, Safe Work Operation and First Aid (an asset).
