Job description

Coaching Duties:

  • Under the direction of the CEO, Ambition Parkour - Ninja Fitness Academy, implement and follow daily training sessions.
  • Develop and carry out team warm-up and physical preparation plans.
  • Carry out non-competitive coaching for occasional school groups/user group bookings.
  • Demonstrate and instruct ninja and/or parkour activities and techniques.
  • Monitor sports or fitness activities to ensure safety and provide emergency or first aid assistance when required.
  • Assist clients/students with special needs.
  • Provide guidance and instruction on proper techniques, skills, and strategies.
  • Assess and evaluate the performance of athletes and provide feedback for improvement.
  • Develop training programs and schedules to help athletes reach their full potential.
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are followed.
  • Coach classes as required (pre-school, recreational and/or competitive Ninja/Parkour).

Non-Coaching Duties:

  • Communicate with athletes, parents, and/or guardians on an as needed basis in a timely and professional manner.
  • Work collaboratively with other coaches.
  • Attend any scheduled coaches’ meetings, and technical/planning meetings as required.
  • Monitor and track the progress of athletes, including attendance, performance, and skill development.
  • Determine costs for parents of competitive athletes.
  • Work with a goal to grow the competitive program.
  • Connect with other leagues for competitions.
  • Ensure a safe and positive training environment for all participants.
  • Collaborate with other coaches and staff members to coordinate team activities and events.

Required Qualifications:

  • Knowledgeable with Parkour, Ninja Warrior, Free Running experience.
  • Experience with and love working with young children.
  • Energetic and actively foster a positive atmosphere.
  • At least 18 years of age.
  • Punctual, Dependable, and have reliable transportation.
  • Approachable and solution-oriented with superior verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Preference given to those with 2-3 years Ninja/Parkour coaching experience.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with athletes, parents, and staff members.
  • Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within ninja and/or parkour.
  • Be willing to update Standard First-Aid & CPR certificates.
  • Respect in Sport and Making Ethical Decisions certificates.
  • Ability to motivate and inspire athletes to achieve their goals.
  • Organizational skills to plan training sessions and manage schedules effectively.Note:

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $27.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
