Head Custodian

Garden Valley School Division is currently seeking the services of a Head Custodian at Prairie Dale School. The incumbent under the direction of the Custodial Supervisor will provide safe, clean and well-maintained facilities and grounds for the students and staff of Prairie Dale School. This position supervises one Junior Custodian and two Custodial Aides and offers a large variety of work.

Below are Qualifications, Skills & Experience that we are seeking:

• High School Diploma or equivalent, preferred.
• 5th Class power engineering certificate an asset
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Good interpersonal skills
• Previous supervisory experience would be an asset but is not required.
• Building management experience an asset.
• Mechanical ability and comprehension an asset
• Problem Solving Skills
• Access to a vehicle is required.
• Ability to relate to the school community and community value base.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $21.29-$24.52 per hour
