Are you a health enthusiast and customer service professional looking for part-time work? Join our friendly team at the Victoria Athletic Club in the Hotel Grand Pacific! The Club offers first-class facilities and amenities to hotel guests and members, including a swimming pool, squash court, weight room, and fitness studio. We’re seeking a Front Desk Attendant who will assist clients with their varied needs and deliver a superior quality of service.
This is a part-time position, working varied days each week. Schedules are posted on a weekly basis. Shift times will include mornings and evenings. As such, we require someone with flexible availability.
Duties:
- Operate an efficient, guest-oriented front desk
- Provide information to potential new club members
- Process new memberships and renewals
- Maintain the membership database
- Handle and control cash
- Perform daily cleaning duties to maintain health and safety standards
What We’re Looking for:
- Basic First Aid/CPR certificate required
- At least 1 year of customer service experience
- Experience in a gym or Health Club environment preferred
- Computer literate with excellent data entry skills
- Friendly and approachable personality
- Positive and professional communication skills
- A passion for wellness, a motivating attitude, and a high regard for guest safety
- Flexible availability to work varied days/times
