Health Economics And Outcome Research Manager

About the role:
Maintain Canada as a technology assessment (HTA) center of excellence by developing and maintaining expertise on HTA decision-making processes and using this expertise to develop innovative pricing and reimbursement strategies.
Leads and executes a thorough HTA strategic planning process to develop strategies that fully leverage the reimbursement potential of public and private payers across Canada.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide early input to Global Value & Access and/or medical on trial design to ensure HTA requirements are met.
• Collaborate with New Product Planning (NPP) to develop the early strategy.
• As a member of the Canadian cross-functional team, co-develop the integrated strategy to secure successful launches.
• Co-create with Global Value & Access the value proposition.
• As a member of Global HEOR core-teams, co-develop cost-effectiveness models (define model structure, parametrization, extrapolations, determine scenarios etc…).
• Determine optimal brand positioning to secure the optimal and timeliest formulary listings.
• Co-develop with the Value & Access team the pCPA negotiation strategy.
• Lead HTA submissions (public and private) process.

Essential Requirements:
• Strong expertise on Health Economics and Outcomes Research.
• At least 4 years of experience in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of the Canadian landscape and local HTA environment.
• Ability to create cost effectiveness models and reports as well as budget impacts analysis.
• Business acumen and strategic mindset.
• Ability to interact with customers.
• French proficiency is an asset.
Desirable Requirements:
• University degree in health economics, Biostatistics or epidemiology
• Graduate training in drug development and/or life sciences an asset
