Key Responsibilities
-Diagnostic Expertise: Utilize your advanced knowledge of Heavy Duty Equipment to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems in a timely and efficient manner.
-Maintenance and Repairs: Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs on a diverse range of heavy equipment, ensuring optimal performance and minimizing downtime.
-Team Leadership: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior technicians, fostering a collaborative and knowledge-sharing work environment.
-Technical Analysis: Analyze equipment performance and recommend improvements, modifications, or upgrades to enhance productivity, safety, and efficiency.
-Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols, policies, and regulations to maintain a safe work environment for yourself and your colleagues.
-Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of all repairs, maintenance activities, and parts used, ensuring a thorough and organized documentation process.
 
Qualifications
-Minimum 5 years of experience in Heavy Duty Equipment maintenance and repair.
-Valid certification as a licensed mechanic. 
-Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
-Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals and schematics.
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
-Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
-Commitment to safety and a proactive approach to maintaining a safe work environment.
 
Working Conditions
-Location: This position is located at Hoyle Pond site, part of Newmont's Porcupine Mine Site near Timmins, ON.
-Schedule: Work a 5x5x4 schedule. As such, if you do not live near the site, we will require you to relocate.
