We are IMMEDIATELY hiring a shop technician based in our Fort McMurray Town Shop facility. This is a FULL-TIME PERMANENT position on a 7x7 12 hour continuous day shift rotation.
Job Description:
Major Job Functions:
- Safety conscious team player with excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills with a high attention to detail
- Troubleshoot, maintain and perform equipment repairs
- Interface with customers, products and sales support
- Working with the Supervisor on various tasks
- Providing support with reference to on-site safety requirements
- Maintain Finning Customer Service Commitment
- Various related duties as required
Qualifications:
- Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Technician Certification
- Minimum 1 year experience as a Heavy Duty Mechanic
Note:
- This shop position is on a 7x7 straight day (Wednesday to Tuesday) shift rotation based out of our Fort McMurray Townshop facility.
- Hourly rate: $53.41 - $55.91 / hour (plus allowances, premiums)
- Candidate selection will be in compliance with the terms of the current Collective Agreement
- Please note that any future shift changes that may occur will be made in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Collective Agreement
