Heavy Duty Technician

Trucklife Fleet Services Ltd. is a locally owned, and operating in Edmonton. We are looking for an HEAVY DUTY TRUCK & TRAILER TECHNICIANS to join our team.

Qualifications:

• Current Class 1 or Class 3 with Q Endorsement would be an asset but not required.
• Valid CVIP
• Experience with Heavy Duty Truck and Trailer Configurations
• A/C Experience
• DEF Experience
• Engine Experience
• Self Motivated (work well with limited supervision)
• Excellent Time Management Skills
• Excellent Verbal and Written Communications Skills
• Strong Work Ethic, Produce Quality Work in Timely Manner
• Ability to Handle Large Volumes of Work and Stressful Situations
• Ability to lift 80 pounds
• Very Organized and Neat

Responsibilities:

• Ensuring Repairs and Maintenance are Done Properly in a Safe, Responsible and Timely Manner
• Troubleshooting and Diagnosing Mechanical and Electrical Failures
• Have Clear and Open Communication with Management
• Ensure all Service Documentation is Completed Properly
• Interpret Work Orders

Experience:

• Journeyman HET Truck and Transport Mechanic: 3 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

• CVIP License (required)
• Class 1 Licence (preferred)
• Journeyman Certificate HET Truck and Transport Mechanic (preferred)
