Grant's Heavy Equipment Limited is a small business based out of Guysborough, NS.

We are seeking a Red Seal Heavy Duty Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in troubleshooting and repairing Heavy Duty equipment, as well as a strong understanding of the principles of electronics. The Technician will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing Mine equipment, providing technical support, and performing preventive maintenance. The successful candidate must be able to work independently and have excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot and repair equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Test and calibrate equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Maintain records of repairs and maintenance.
• Provide technical support to customers and other technicians.
• Follow safety protocols when working with hazardous materials.

This is a 2:2 rotational position. The Candidate is responsible for their own transportation to and from the Airport.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $42.00-$51.75 per hour

Expected hours: 84 per week

• mechanical: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:
