Canuel Caterers was initiated 30 years ago by two entrepreneurial brothers with the ambitions of starting up a company that would rival other large, multi-national food service providers in Canada. We are able to attract new clients while retaining our existing client base, such as our first account in the lower mainland, which after 30 years, we still retain today. We have school accounts combined in the Lower Mainland and the Interior of British Columbia, in addition to multiple corporate accounts. Supported by strong management, sales and operational team, we offer a variety of styles of service for lunch service in these facilities, including meal programs for schools and seniors.
We are currently hiring Cafeteria Cooks/ Managers for our High School Cafeterias located in Richmond.
Monday to Friday shifts 7:00am - 2pm This position requires you to be available for all 5 shifts/week and place daily bank deposits.
This position will be seasonal, starting as soon as possible until mid June, with Winter, Spring, and Summer breaks off, and returning in September.
Cafeteria Manager Responsibilities include:
- Opening and Closing of the Cafe
- Cooking and Food Preparation
- Monthly Inventory
- Quality Control
- Ordering
- Balancing cash and deposits
Assets include:
- Previous cooking and managing experience
Requirements:
- Valid Food Safe Certificate
- Criminal Record check

Salary: $18.50 per hour
