Responsibilities:
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children under your care
- Assist with daily activities, including mealtime, playtime, and naptime
- Engage children in educational and age-appropriate activities
- Monitor children's behavior and ensure their well-being
- Communicate with parents/guardians regarding their child's progress and any concerns
- Maintain a clean and organized childcare environment
- Bathe, dress and feed as per outlined schedule
- Assist in toilet-training and change diapers
- Plan, prepare and serve meals
- Oversee our daughter’s activities and ensure she is always in a safe environment
- Tend to her social development and emotional well-being
- Provide age-appropriate educational training through organized activities such as games, crafts, reading and outdoor play
- Take our daughter to and from school and other appointments
- Assist in teaching on daily chores like tidying the bed, baking, cleaning up after toys, doing laundry, etc
- May perform other housekeeping duties
Qualifications:
- Female
- 10 years experience working with children, either in a professional or personal setting
- Must be fluent in English, Tagalog, Hiligaynon and Karay-a
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices most especially the psychosocial development
- Ability to educate and engage children in a classroom-like setting
- Strong caregiving skills, including patience, empathy, and compassion
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Recognized nursing and/or caregiver degree
- 5 years of driving experience
- Skilled in cooking, baking and decorating cake/cupcakes
- Knowledgeable in first aid treatment and child CPR
- Able to lift at least 30 lbs
