Home Childcare Provider-Private Home

A family in Kelowna is in search of a Home child care - private home to support their child (age 4-years old). This position is a permanent position for the right candidate. The ideal Caregiver is kind, warm and a great communicator. The family is looking for someone with an energetic personality that can bring in great ideas to engage and entertain the child to support him in reaching milestones and finding joy in every day also with interactive teaching with positive reinforcement! Responsibilities:

Ensure a safe and clean environment for the child at all times

Dressing

Feeding

Toileting

Outdoor playtime activities (soccer, park visits, etc.)

Indoor activities (arts & crafts, reading, etc.)

Light housekeeping (children's laundry, meal preparation, tidy play areas)

Requirements:

6 months minimum experience

Valid First Aid & CPR or willingness to obtain

Clear Vulnerable Sector Screen

Must be comfortable working in a home

Bilingual is a bonus!

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fixed term contract

Contract length: 24 months

Salary: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour

Schedule:

8 hour shift (and after hours as needed)
COVID-19 considerations:
Mom & dad are both fully vaccinated, the children will be once they are able. The family prefers a fully vaccinated individual

License/Certification:

First Aid & CPR Certification (preferred)

Salary: $17.00-$18.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 35 per week
