Responsibilities
- Perform unannounced visits to the provider on a regular basis to interact with the children to ensure their needs are being met in a safe manner, a program is in place and all regulations are being followed.
- Document the results, make recommendations and follow-up on areas of deficiencies.
- Complete both internal and external checklists, including from the Ministry of Education.
- Ensure Serious Occurrence Procedures are in place and respond to serious occurrences as required.
- Coach providers on best practices and child development, as well as provide overall guidance.
- Responsibility for annual reviews, planning workshops and other related tasks.
- Complete orientations for new enrollments.
- Provide referrals to agencies and supporting parents as requested.
- Maintain all requirements of the RECE designation.

RECE Designation with 2+ years in the industry or in a Day Care. Detail oriented and a comfortable level with significant amounts of paperwork is important. Must be comfortable and enjoy being around and working with children. Must have your own car and a valid driver's license. Organized with good communication is key. Office experience is a strong asset.
