The Home Visitation Program aims to enhance positive parent-child connections, enhance parental knowledge and abilities, support the healthy development of children, facilitate families in accessing formal and informal services within their communities, promote overall family well-being, and contribute to the establishment of resilient communities.
The Home Visitation Worker will evaluate families for program eligibility using standardized screening and assessment tools, identifying those who would gain from participation.
Home visitation aims to assist families within their home setting by offering parenting guidance, evaluating child development, and aiding families in establishing connections with their natural support systems and the community. This strategy eliminates obstacles to service access, including transportation and childcare.
