Under the direction of the Supervisor, Inventory & Logistics, the Hot Shot driver is required to transport parts to and from the rig site and deliver and pick up parts from various locations. There may be other duties of a similar nature assigned by the Supervisor, Inventory & Logistics.

Summary of Duties
· Perform pre-trip inspection of vehicle.
· Maintain compliance with completion of log books and hours of service.
· Load and unload cargo, goods or merchandise.
· Follow Journey Management program.
· Comply with Company Health and Safety Program.
· Participate in the Hazard ID Program.
· Report all incidents to the supervisor.
· Drive in a safe and courteous manner and obey all traffic rules.
· Ensure the truck is well maintained and kept in a clean and tidy state.
· Ensure clear communication is kept with procurement team.
Education and Experience
· Must possess a valid driver’s license with no more than 6 demerits or a GDL
· Must possess valid certifications in H2S, First Aid, CSO
· One year of experience driving in challenging conditions
· Log book and hours of service training
· Cargo/load securement
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
· Strong navigational skills (reading and interpreting directional information)
· Able to confidently drive in any road conditions and any time of day with a trailer
· Ability to work well with others as well as independently
· Excellent judgment and a genuine concern for safety

· Must be a self-motivator and detail oriented
· Comply with Company Health and Safety Program
· Must have experience using various cargo securement devices to ensure all cargo is secured as per Transport Canada Regulations
Competency Level
Incumbents at this level have a minimum of 1 year driving experience in northern Alberta in the oilfield industry dealing with high priority deliveries.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
· Standing, and or sitting (driving) for extended periods of time.
· Repetitive movements.
· Long hours maybe needed to accomplish tasks on time.
· Working in adverse shifts, nights or days when in the field.
· Working in awkward positions (twisting, bending, etc.).
· Multi-temperature environments.
· Noisy environments dependent upon task and location.
· Squatting, bending, kneeling, lifting up to 32 kilograms,
· Reaching, twisting, crawling, ladder work, climbing, walking on rough ground,
· Working near moving equipment,
· Working alone.
Hours/ On-call Expectations
Must be able to work evenings, weekends and overtime when necessary and be available on-call.
Job Types: Full-time, Seasonal
Salary: $25.00-$27.00 per hour
