DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for setting up, stocking and maintaining breakfast room and kitchen
- Prepare food for breakfast including in using a convection oven
- Greet guests in a friendly manner
- Answer guest questions
- Assist guests in use of breakfast equipment if needed
- Communicates all guest concerns to management
- Maintain cleanliness of serving area; including wiping, sweeping and mopping.
- Clear and clean tables and chairs
- Wash and store any dishes and utensils
- Sweeps, vacuums, and mops kitchen and dining room floor
- Responsible for the removal of all waste and recycling to proper disposal areas
- Ensures the proper use and storage of cleaning chemicals
- Takes every reasonable precaution to protect own health and safety and the health and safety of other persons at or near the workplace
- Follows safety and food handling practices
- Completes additional food service or catering duties as assigned by management
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:
- Previous kitchen experience preferred, but not required
- Food Handler’s certificate an asset
- Knowledge of basic cleaning procedures
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as cooperatively within a team setting
- Ability to be on feet for extended periods of time

Salary: $17.00 per hour
