Hotel Night Audit (10PM - 8AM: 3 and 4 nights a week)

*Note this position requires working overnight shifts which are 10PM-8AM Sunday, Monday, Tuesday nights as well as every second Saturday night. This position averages 35 hours a week with 3 or 4 days off every week. (Training shifts for the first couple weeks may vary and will include hours outside of the normally scheduled shifts)

Our ideal candidate is happy and cheerful and who thrives in the late overnight hours. As Night Auditors are the only employees working in the hotel overnight candidates must be mature and responsible. This role provides an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys and appreciates having a good amount of time off every week while working a compressed schedule.

The position is customer service focused with an attention to ensuring our numbers balance. You must have great listening skills, be able to come up with creative solutions for different situations, and be able to be empathise. Quick thinkers and problem solvers do well in this role.

Our Guest Service team are known for their excellent customer service which makes us one of the top hotels in Nanaimo. Our wage starts between $19.00 and $21.00 per hour depending on experience. Our Night Audit team also earn a $1.50 per hour bonus for working overnight shifts. ($20.50-$22.50 overall) For full-time employees working more than 30 hours per week we offer medical and dental benefits for you and your family after 6 months.
