Position:House Person

Location: The Residences at TELUS Sky – Calgary, AB

For 30 years, Westbank has been devoted to developing a combination of mixed use and single use residential, retail, hotels, and office buildings in North America.

The Residences at TELUS Sky is currently looking for a House Person to join their team. This individual will be responsible for ensuring cleanliness within our building. Our team members are positive and kind individuals who know how to exceed guest expectations while maintaining an exceptional level of hospitality and professionalism.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain property cleaning standards in public areas (residential lobby, hallways, gym, etc.)
• Replenish amenities according to the operational standards
• Ensure security of guest rooms and privacy of guests
• Be familiar with all property services/features
• Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned work areas
• Responsible for following the standard operating procedures
• Sweep, mop, scrub and polish floors
• Dust and polish metalwork
• Pickup clean linen and refill the par stock of linen on each floor pantry
• Deliver towels, cribs and other items to the guest rooms on requests
• Remove soiled linen and trash from service area and take to appropriate locations in the prescribed manner
• Always respond in a friendly, helpful manner to guests and other colleagues
• Perform tasks assigned by the Housekeeping Manager when required
• Report to work in required uniform and in adherence with the Dress Code Policy
• Must be able to work independently and as a team player

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a housekeeping role
• Physical mobility and stamina required
• High School or equivalent or 1-year diploma in hotel management
• Project a professional image and demeanor
• Understand, apply and comply with all company policies and procedures
• Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance

**This role is an evening shift from 1:30PM – 10PM, 5 days a week**

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $19.05 per hour
