Community Care City of Kawartha Lakes (CCCKL) is seeking dependable Housekeeping applicants for a one-year contract. As an integral part of the Home Support Services team, Housekeepers will provide support with a variety of housekeeping and home maintenance activities across a variety of shifts.
Fully paid health, dental and sick benefits will be provided for selected applicants who accept contracted terms of one-year and a FTE of .80 (60 hours bi-weekly schedule).
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Provide housekeeping services to clients, including; housecleaning, dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping floors, washing dishes/ countertops, cleaning and disinfecting bathrooms, laundry, ironing, bedding preparation, mending and other household activities as directed
Report to Management any observation of relevant client information
Support clients in carrying out household housekeeping activities
Understand, respect and promote the agency’s Mission, Vision and Values
Carry out other responsibilities as outlined in the job description and service agreements
KEY COMPETENCIES REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION Knowledge of cleaning methods and equipment an asset Passion for making a difference in your community
Ability to work evening, night, weekend and statutory holiday shifts
Maintain current CPR & First Aid Valid driver license and access to a reliable vehicle Clear Vulnerable Sector Screen Current Level C CPR and First Aid
WORKING CONDITIONS This position requires the successful incumbent to work in a variety of home environments The role involves physical activity, including bending, twisting, lifting, stretching and squatting
