Housekeeper Supervisor

Housekeeping Supervisor (Full-time) Keskorie Boarding Home – $23-$25/HR

100% owned by the Yellowknives Dene First Nation, The Keskorie Boarding Home is a division of the Det’on Cho Hospitality Group, providing top-tier, professional comfort, care and support to the guests of the Keskorie Boarding Home. We promote a positive & supportive work-place culture focused on growth, teamwork and the care for our employees and are seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor for the Keskorie Boarding Home.

The Position:

Reporting to the Director of Medical Travel Operations at the Keskorie Boarding Home, the Housekeeping Supervisor is a hands-on role that leads and directs the Housekeeping team in assigning tasks to provide clean and safe living accommodations for our guests. The ideal candidate for this position must be fully capable and willing of complying with all policies, procedures and service standards as well as follow and proactively promote all health and safety policies and initiatives and be willing to fill in for any position within the Housekeeping Department should the need rise.

Qualifications:

Our ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications:

• Exceptional Customer Service skills and enjoy working with the public
• A minimum of one-year supervisory experience in the housekeeping or related industry
• Computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office Software
• Strong communication and customer relations abilities
• Current WHMIS certification
• Current First Aid certification
• Have attention to detail, strong organization skills and can prioritize well
• Ideally has the ability to lead and motivate staff
• Demonstrated knowledge of Personnel Protective Equipment (PPE)
• Concept of working as a team player and having the ability to work well with others
• Concept of working as a team player and have the ability to work well with others
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
