Housekeeper/House Cleaner

Tesso is our small family-operated company that manages two Bed & Breakfasts, as well as a few short and medium term rental houses and apartments. We primarily use Airbnb as a platform to find our guests. Our properties are mainly located on the North Shore, with a few units in downtown Vancouver. We have been in business for almost 10 years.

The position offered is to help us with cleaning and housekeeping. We welcome anyone, from an experienced cleaner, to someone who has no professional experience but is detail-oriented and eager to learn.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Sweep, mop and wash floors
• Dust furniture and vacuum carpeting
• Make beds, change sheets and distribute clean towels and toiletries
• Attend to guests' requests for extra supplies
• Stock linen closets and other supplies' areas
• Clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathrooms
• Pick up debris and empty trash containers
• Wash windows, walls and ceilings
• May provide basic information on facilities
• May handle complaints

Requirements:

1) commute daily to North Vancouver (Lonsdale Ave and Queens Rd)

2) available to work 10:00 AM - 6:30 PM, 5 days a week, any day of the week

3) legally able to work in Canada (we can help you obtain a work-permit if you have professional experience and a university degree in hospitality management or a related area)

Bonus to have:

- own vehicle to use for work (milage will be compensated)

Salary: $25.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
