Here with outlined are your Roles and Responsibilities as a Housekeeper under the direct supervision of the Head Housekeeper including but not limited to the following:
- Inspect vacated rooms to determine if it needs to be cleaned as a Check-out or as a Stay.
- Perform cleaning activities such as wiping and dusting the furniture, sweeping and mopping floors, hallways, lobbies and other rooms, e.g., laundry & storage room.
- Strip beds and replace with fresh linen, ensuring that dirty or soiled bed sheets are placed in the laundry area.
- Transport dirty laundry to the washing area and ensure that clean laundry is delivered and folded properly in a timely manner.
- Replenish supplies such as soap, shampoo, toilet paper, dish soap, and towels in kitchenettes and bathrooms.
- Empty waste paper bins and ashtrays, ensuring that proper waste management procedures are followed, especially for kitchen wastes.
- Wash and disinfect bathrooms on a daily basis by using the correct mixture of cleaning and sanitizing liquids.
- Ascertain that housekeeping trolleys are properly stacked with supplies such as cleaning agents, towels, and other guest supplies.
- Report any security issues or problems to the housekeeping head and ensure that any lost and found items are identified and handed over to the front desk.
- Report suspicious acts and behavior from guests or visitors around the hotel premises.
- Report accurate work hours rendered and job details in the housekeeping work sheet.
- Be cooperative and humble, friendly and pleasing to both guests and coworkers.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: $15.00-$16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 per week
