Under the supervision of the (Executive) Housekeeper the Cleaners will thoroughly clean and service guest suites (mainly Public Area) with a high attention to detail and assist with the hotel’s entire overall cleanliness.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
· Thoroughly clean assigned guest suites according to standards
· Maintain or replace all guest supplies and amenities
· Be helpful and courteous to guests, potential guests and team members
· Use cleaning products and materials correctly and with good care
· Be careful and correctly handle equipment (vacuums, carts etc.)
· Ensure Room Attendant cart is neat and tidy at all times (never leave keys on it)
· Report any defects and safety hazards to be familiar with WHIMIS
· Follow special cleaning instructions and directions from the Executive Housekeeper
- Be Familiar with departmental procedures and policies and ensure standards are adhered to
- Be efficient, effective, and responsive with inquiries and requests using good communications
- Work with supervisor (and maintenance) to ensure deficiencies and maintenance items are attended to
- Ensure floor housekeeping storage areas are clean, maintained and organized.
- Accomplish or assist with “Special Projects” as required
Qualifications / Requirements:
· Superior attention to detail
· Must be able to complete physical work including: crouching, kneeling, standing for extended period of time
· Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends
