Position Overview:

As a Housekeeping Supervisor at Wander the Resort, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the cleanliness, order, and overall excellence of our guest accommodations. Your leadership and organizational skills will contribute to the seamless operations of the housekeeping department, creating an exceptional experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise, train, and motivate housekeeping staff to maintain a high level of efficiency and productivity.
• Schedule and coordinate daily tasks, ensuring optimal staffing levels to meet guest demands
• Ensure guest rooms are thoroughly cleaned and prepared for new arrivals.
• Change linens, replenish amenities, and conduct detailed cleaning to meet the resort's cleanliness standards.
• Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness and adherence to resort standards.
• Address any deficiencies promptly, coordinating with the housekeeping team for corrective action.
• Ensure that the team is effectively using resort systems to update room status, clean rooms in a timely manner and following checklist requirements.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with relevant departments for replenishment.
• Respond to guest inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
• Collaborate with the front desk to ensure seamless communication regarding guest requests and preferences.
• Provide ongoing training to housekeeping staff on cleaning procedures, service standards, and safety protocols.
• Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that promotes teamwork and excellence.
• Maintain accurate records of room status, maintenance issues, and housekeeping activities via resort systems.
• Execute specialized cleaning tasks, such as deep cleaning carpets, upholstery, and other designated areas.
• Handle delicate or valuable items in guest rooms with care and attention.
• Clean other common spaces amongst the resort including, but not limited to, the Clubhouse, change rooms, portable washrooms, saunas and operations house.
• Perform mid-stay cleans in cabins

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality industry, preferably in housekeeping.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Thorough knowledge of cleaning techniques, procedures, and hospitality standards.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
