As a Human Resources (HR) Analyst in Compensation, you will partner with clients to provide job evaluation and compensation related support.Primary duties include:
- Participate in multiple job evaluation systems which align pay levels for positions across The Corporation.
- Provide guidance and education to clients who are documenting their job requirements, responsibilities, and helping ensure the job design can be recruited for.
- Conduct job analysis and prepare job documentation for evaluation by the applicable corporate job evaluation committee, as well as helping to document a career lattice for use in applying staffing processes to employee development.
- Consult with business clients and HR colleagues on a variety of compensation policy and program matters.
- Act as a member of the compensation network, understanding trends, developments and best practices relating to compensation and rewards.
Qualifications
- A degree in Human Resources, Commerce/Business, Social Sciences, or related field and at least 4 years of related HR experience.
- Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.
- A Chartered Professional in Human Resources (CPHR) designation and/or a Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) designation would be considered an asset.
- Preference will be given to individuals with experience in compensation, including job evaluation, policy and/or program design, and market surveying and analysis.
- Success in this position requires the ability to work under general direction, take initiative and have well developed interviewing, partnering, and communication skills to capture and synthesize information.
- A strong client service orientation and the ability to work effectively individually or within a team is essential.
