As part of our Shared Services group, comprised of Finance, Marketing, Communications, Human Resources, Commercial, Legal and Facilities, we support the business achieve their goals through a range of strong technical capabilities. We ensure delivery of services through the skills of our people, methodologies, and systems.
 
Position Summary:  
Hatch is seeking an HR Co-op Student with interest in Human Resources for a 4-month internship starting in May 2024. Reporting to the HR Service Centre Lead, you will support offices globally working from our Mississauga Head office.

Responsibilities: 
As a co-op student, your duties and responsibilities will include:
-Support with various HR generalist activities including new hire file creation, new hire onboarding, HR reporting and analytics, HR program and process review.
-Participate in the creation of reports and maintain databases  
-Assist with day-to-day employee requests
-Maintain data in HR Information System
-Support payroll administration duties on an as needed basis
-Other administrative duties as assigned
 
Education and Experience:
-2nd year or higher of a business/commerce diploma in Human Resources, or similar relevant program
-Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize work effectively
-Strong presentation and public speaking skills an asset
-Strong MS Office skills with advanced skill in MS Excel
-Familiarity with SuccessFactors and/or SAP an asset
