IBM Maximo experience, being able to work in Canada, and a willingness to travel 50% of the time are necessary for this role.
As a seasoned Maximo Functional Consultant you will be responsible for gathering and documenting detailed client requirements. You will work closely with BPD Lead Consultants and Clients key stakeholders from multiple business areas providing expert Maximo functional guidance.
You will assist clients to analyze their business process and give direction on how these may best fit into Maximo. You will gain an in depth understanding of the ‘out-of-box’ product; this is a prerequisite to a successful design.
You will work autonomously or as part of a team, you will take responsibility in part or in full for the planning and delivery of Maximo solutions over multiple phases.

Desired Skills and Experience
IBM Maximo Consultancy experience is preferred but we are also looking for Maximo Administrators or Business Subject Matter Experts with Maximo Use Experience. The opportunity to carry out self-paced training and complete a Certification in Maximo will be offered.
Knowledge and experience of business process re-engineering (ideally in Maintenance Management, Inventory and Supply Chain but also Health & Safety, Regulatory and Management of Change)
Experience of Maintenance Management within Oil & Gas, Chemical & Petroleum, Power Generation, Utilities, Facilities Management or Transportation industry
Required Skills & Experience
Experience with using or administrating IBM Maximo (V7 and above)
A strong academic record (Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent/Experience*)
Strong aptitude for Self-Learning and Problem-Solving.
Experience working with another Asset Management or Enterprise Level System e.g. SAP, Oracle, Infor, IFS, Concept etc.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels within an organization (English Fluent)
Leadership and strong team working skills
Ability to deliver and maintain high standards of customer satisfaction
Enthusiasm and drive to build strong client relationships
Willingness to travel based on project requirements (Canada)
Be willing and self-motivated to expand their knowledge and skills through self-paced learning
*Consideration may be given to those who do not have a degree but do have a strong proven track record with references in a relevant field
