About the Role:

Are you ready to take your passion for sports and entertainment to the next level? Join our dynamic team as an Ice Crew Member and become an integral part of the maintenance and operation of all aspects of Field of Play at Rogers Place, including ice, Dasher Boards, Acrylic, Spectator Netting, Goal Frames, Ice Edgers, and Zambonis.

Your Core Accountabilities:

• Shovel the ice surface during intermissions for Oilers and Oil Kings games
• Set up practice and game nets including drilling marsh pegs
• Assist with in game entertainment set up/takedown
• Change dasher advertising as needed
• Maintaining field of play components, including glass cleaning and board checks
• Game day setup and checklist completion
• Maintain the cleanliness of Rogers Place and the arena
• Concert setup & takedown/event support
• Enhance our fans experience through sharing and educating Rogers Place main services and products.
• Promote a safe and kind environment.

Does this sound like you?

• You are experienced in Field of Play Operations
• You have a demonstrated knowledge of facility operations
• You have experience with the operation and maintenance of ice resurfacing machines
• You have excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
• You are highly organized, and results oriented with the ability to be flexible and work well under pressure
• You have the functional knowledge of facility maintenance including but not limited to: ice maintenance/operation, electrical systems, centrifugal chillers, HVAC systems, steam, ammonia refrigeration, plumbing systems and equipment control systems
• You are available for shift work, including weekends and holidays
