Immediate RECE position

All Saints’ Montessori School is looking for a confident and innovative teacher to join our teaching team. Our prospective Early Childhood Educator will be responsible for guiding children to develop skills, attitudes, and knowledge necessary for a strong foundation of learning.

Requirements:

- Completion of Early Childhood Education program or equivalent recognized by College of ECE

- Confident in planning engaging and stimulating play-based learning experience

- Creative, self-motivated team player, energetic, independent, and flexible

- Conduct ongoing assessments to determine motor, language, social, cognitive, and emotional development in preparation for report cards and individualized plans

- Participate in school events including staff meetings, open houses, parent meetings, and concerts as required by the school

- Greet children and families warmly and encourage each family to be involved in HDLH

- Observe and detect health conditions and abnormalities; report illnesses and injuries

Successful candidate must have:

- Able to cultivate a safe and engaging environment for children to learn and develop curiousity, a sense of belonging and self-regulatory skills

- Valid Standard First Aid and CPR (level C) certification

- Up-to-date medical record/ immunizations and COVID vaccination

- Police Reference Check within the last 6 months

- Able to follow directions and guidelines set out by Ministry and understands CCEYA Licensing Standards

- Local candidates preferred
