In-Home Caregiver

Job Description

We are looking for caregivers/ support workers who have experience working with all ages, from childcare to senior care.

Flexible Positions Available

• Must have a drivers license and a reliable vehicle.
• Experience with caregiving
• First Aid Certificate
• Ongoing availability
• Covid Vaccine

Job Duties include but not limited to:

• Light housekeeping
• Meal preparation
• Personal care (bathing, dressing, diaper/depends changes etc)
• Assisting with all tasks of daily living
• Companionship
• Provide premium care to clients and their family members

Caregiver Requirements:

• Two positive professional references
• Background or Criminal Record Check with a Vulnerable Sector Search (updated every 5 years for continued employment)
• Proof of healthcare certification (If applicable)
• Cell phone with data and understanding of how to access email and utilize online applications
• Strong verbal and written English skills
• Fully Vaccinated against Covid-19
• Valid 1st Aid
• Ability to get to and from work on time

Preference will be given to those with the following:

• Valid BC Drivers License
• Valid HCA Certificate or equivalent
• Previous experience in a related role

Covid-19 Protocols in place.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Casual

Salary: $22.00-$26.00 per hour
