to support a young adult with all activities of daily living including:
meal preparation
maintaining his household (creating grocery lists, cleaning, laundry, etc)
daily hygeine routines
community activities (eg. bowling, swimming, going for walks, grocery shopping, attending community events, sporting events, skyzone, etc.)
Successful candidate needs:
First Aid/CPR
Experience with persons with Autism
Experience with Individuals who are non-verbal
Experience with de-escalating behaviours and ability to respond calmly during stressful situations
Professional attitude
Patience, Compassion
Must be willing to work individually and as part of a support team
Must have valid driver's license and transportation to work . Once at work a company van will be available for daily use.
Must be willing to provide 3 professional references and a vulnerable sector police clearance.
