Indigenous Peer Support Worker

The Indigenous Peer Support worker will provide client and facility support. These positions require a commitment to a
client centered philosophy and approach to the development and support of the Substance Use and Recovery programs
and client services.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Grade 12 education or equivalent

• Suitable combination of education and experience working with addictions related employment experience

and/or volunteer work

• Valid CPR-C with AED training and First Aid certification

• Working knowledge of Windows based programs (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook) and Internet

• Satisfactory employment record required

• Successful candidate subject to provide security checks in accordance with Security Checks for Employment

Policy (HR-02-80. Waived for internal candidates with current checks on file.
