District Overview

Our school district is comprised of 18 schools with the singular focus of delivering high quality education so our students can realize their personal goals which include post-secondary and employment opportunities around Canada and the world. Our staff of over 1,300 caring professionals are here to make dreams turn into reality.

This is a casual position working on an as-needed basis up to 30 hours per week.

Monday to Friday, 10 months per year while regular classes are in session

Pay Rate: $27.64

This position is an on-call position that provides direct support to Indigenous students, liaises with the Indigenous community on behalf of the school, and provides a positive role model for Indigenous students.

Applicants must have demonstrated ability to provide instructional support in a school setting with a willingness to be involved in school/department activities.

Applicants must have demonstrated strong, positive interpersonal skills with students, staff, and the community.

Applicants must be willing and able to facilitate Indigenous cultural learning opportunities for all students across the district.

Minimum requirements: secondary school graduation, direct or related experience with a preference given to applicants with post secondary training and experience related to supporting school-aged children/youth

THIS IS NOT A CUPE POSITION.
