Key Responsibilities
- Encourage students to become pro-active and work on issues that interfere with their personal well-being and academic success
- Meet with students individually to provide support, information, and resources
- Achieved through designing and implementing programs which promote awareness and resources to help achieve various wellness goals
- Meeting the needs of both the Lloydminster and Vermilion campuses
Key Responsibilities
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in a related field
- 5 years of experience
- Eligibility for professional registration under the Health Professions Act
- Experience designing, implementing, and evaluating wellness programs as well as networking with community agencies
- Experience working with young adults
- Excellent computer skills
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to work independently
- Counseling and/or social work background is essential
- A lived First Nations experience would be an asset
Additional Information
This is a 3-year AUPE Temporary appointment on the Lloydminster campus, split into 3 work periods of approximately 10 months as follows;
- Period #1 commences January 8, 2024, and ends July 13, 2024
- Period #2 commences September 2024 and ends June 2025
- Period #3 commences September 2025 and ends June 2025
