As part of our commitment to diversity in the workplace, the Regina Police Service is looking for Indigenous/Diversity Summer Students for employment in our Information Technology Unit, from May to August 2024. Priority in hiring will be given to qualified Indigenous persons (First Nations, Metis, and Inuit) and Diversity candidates who self-identify assuch in the application process. We encourage members of all equity-seeking groups to self-identify within their letter of intent in their application.
Applications will be accepted for employment in our Information Technology Services Unit Responsibilities may include: Computer networking, somecomputer programming, trouble shooting, computer support, and other duties as required.
Candidates must meet the following requirements:
Be registered as a full-time student in a computer science program
Be 18 years of age or older
Be willing to undergo background and security screening including a pre-employment polygraph
Valid driver's license
