Job Duties:
Assist Operators with the safe operation of the various units
Rigging in/out of equipment, general labour work, operate high pressure water blasting tools, working in confined spaces and at heights.
Spot the safe positioning of equipment
Maintain, clean and store equipment
Experience and Qualifications:
Class 5 license is an asset
Willing and able to travel
Able to take direction and work effectively as part of a team
Capable to adapt to new work environments
Previous experience working in various environments (i.e. confined space, heights, noisy and various and extreme weather conditions); Industrial pulp & paper and/or oil and gas experience is also an asset
Swamping experience is an asset (i.e. Vacuum and Hydrovac work)
Experience working with High Pressure Water Blasting Equipment is an asset
Experience working with chemicals is an asset
Working Conditions:
Able to work nightshifts and up to 12 hour shifts, including in inclement weather.
Able to work at heights and enter confined spaces
Capable of standing for long durations, climb stairs and ladders and lift up to 50 lbs
