K-6 Jaffray Elementary/Junior Secondary School Jaffray, BC Continuing 1.0 FTE Salary: The starting annual salary for this full-time teaching position ranges from $61,512 to $108,430, with placement on the range based on length of service and qualifications in accordance with the collective agreement.Benefits: We offer a competitive benefits package and pension.Terms and conditions pursuant to the Collective Agreement between the Cranbrook and Fernie Teachers' Association and School District No. 5 (Southeast Kootenay).-Preference will be given to applicants with BC Teacher Certification. -Must have a degree/formal training and/or teaching experience in subjects and at a level specific to each posting. Industrial Education Teacher (Woodwork) - Grades 7-10/Elementary Trades Teacher, Gr. K-6 (POSTING NUMBER T2425-015 - Round 1)1.0 FTE continuing contract, starting September 3, 2024 or upon completion of the posting process.Must have a degree/formal training and or teaching experience at the Secondary level. Must have a degree/formal training and or teaching experience in Woodwork. Must have a Red Seal in an applicable area, or a Diploma in the Technology Teacher Education Program, or the equivalent.Courses to include Woodwork 7-10, Elementary Tinker Time as well as 2 classes still to be determined.
