Job description
- Reading and interpreting electrical schematics, panel building, executing precise point-to-point wiring for machinery panels
- Wiring and connecting field control devices for custom automated systems, including motors and transformers
- Conducting tests and debugging of electrical systems, including commissioning, installation, and troubleshooting of PLC-based systems
- Installing and troubleshooting machinery both at the customer's site and on-site
- Perform other related duties, as assigned
Request
- College Diploma, Electrical Certification, 4+ years of proven experience in the assembly of electrical systems for automated machinery, or equivalent; 442A or 309A Electrician’s license preferred
- Ability to travel up to 30-50% domestically and internationally to Europe and USA to support equipment installation and commissioning. Flight, food, and lodging are covered. Must have and maintain a valid passport
- Ability to safely handle the operation of machine shop equipment (Vertical/horizontal/table saws/Belt sanders/Drill press/Grinder/ Jigsaw), as well as safely work with high voltage equipment at 600V, 480V, and 208V
- Experience using hand tools and measuring electrical tools (Drill, strippers, crimpers, screwdrivers, wrenches, deburr, etc.)”. Must bring your own tools
- Ability to read & interpret engineering drawings and identify and wire electrical components; Must have command of the English language, both written and verbal
- Ability to work well with others in a collaborative team environment.
- Must have a thorough knowledge of current industrial electrical standards, ability to read electrical drawings, working knowledge of PLCs, sensors, motor control drives, servomotor systems, and basic working knowledge of pneumatic controls
