We have openings for Millwrights who will carry out planned, predictive and re-active maintenance of plant equipment and machinery in order to maintain plant reliability & performance in our fast-paced manufacturing environment.
The role will involve assisting other members of the Maintenance department with the company’s reactive and preventative maintenance duties including routine mechanical or electrical tasks that are assigned.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
- Responding to routine breakdown and repair issues
- Ensure high factory reliability is achieved by performing quality routine machine and plant maintenance
- Ensure optimum performance is achieved through effective and consistent setting of the production machine
- Participate in engineering focused activities in support of manufacturing plant and equipment
- Work with the engineering team and meet the engineering standards across the group
- Deliver maintenance KPI’s to ensure visibility of maintenance performance and required improvement for site.

Qualifications:
- Candidates must have a valid Millwright Certificate of Qualification 433A ticket.
- Experience in a manufacturing food processing environment is an asset
- 5+ years of strong mechanical skills and mechanical/electrical troubleshooting experience.
- Strong Preventive Maintenance (PM) background including experience developing Preventive Maintenance plans is desirable
- Excellent communication skills both oral and written
- Self directed / motivated team player open to new technology with a sense of urgency and attention to detail
- Must be able to lift up to 45 pounds
- Must be able to climb stairs and ladders and work at elevated levels
- This job will require frequent bending and twisting of the back as well as working above shoulder height
