If you are an experienced Industrial Painter and have strong knowledge in coating fabricated parts and assemblies in the heavy equipment industry, we want you to join Falcon Equipment! This position is based in our Surrey Fabrication Shop located in Port Kells Industrial Area, M - F 7am - 3:30pm.
Job Duties & Requirements:
- Tend and operate equipment used to spray or coat products.
- Prepare and apply stencils, decals, and other decorative items on the finished product.
- knowledge of chemical application techniques.
- Apply high performance protective coatings to metal surfaces, fabricated parts, assemblies, and structures.
- Other duties as required.
Qualifications:
- 3 to 5 years of related experience with industrial painting in the heavy equipment industry.
- Strong painting skills experience and knowledge in coating fabricated parts and assemblies.
- Solid mechanical skills with the ability to troubleshoot problems and read & interpret blueprints.
- Must possess a strong, keen eye for details.
- The ability to maneuver in and around heavy equipment.
- Excellent communication skills and enjoy working as part of a team or independently.
- A Class 5 driver’s license with air endorsement would also be an asset.
