Industrial Sewing Machine Operator

Responsibilities:

• Sewing marine canvas and upholstery based on pattern as required.
• Cutting and measuring Fabric, Zippers, Binding etc.
• Inspect finished products for quality and make adjustments as needed
• Some customer service for clients who stop in at the shop.

Requirements:

• Experience with Sewing Machines is mandatory.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurate
• Experience with Industrial Sewing Machines is an asset.
• Experience with marine canvas and upholstery is an asset.
• Willingness to learn other parts of the business (patterning) an asset.
• Pay is negotiable, based on experience.

Expected start date: 2024-04-01

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Salary: $20.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
