TD Information Security covers the development and management of security strategies, policies and programs to assess, prioritize, and mitigate business risk with technology controls. Priorities include: mitigating and managing cyber security threats, ensuring systems availability, aligning with global regulatory risk and compliance requirements, managing systems and network complexity, and partnering with businesses for better technology delivery by providing advice on technology controls.

About This Role

We need someone to provide research, evaluation, assessment, operational, reporting and analytical support for Technology Controls and Information Security programs and initiatives. Your ability to provide sound advice and guidance will prove instrumental as you grow within your area of specialization.

  • Guide partners on a broad range of technology throughout incidents.

  • Support Cybersecurity Incidents and Cybersecurity Events investigations.

  • Contribute to containment and recovery plans for Cybersecurity Incidents.

  • Contribute to the definition, development, and oversight of a global security management strategy and framework.

  • Ensure technology, processes, and governance are in place to monitor, detect, prevent, and react to both current and emerging technology and security threats against TDBG's business.

  • Contribute to development of on-going operational enhancements for Cybersecurity including alerting, monitoring, and detection across multiple security domains.

  • Adhere to internal policies and procedures, technology control standards, and applicable regulatory guidelines.

  • Contribute to the review of internal processes and activities and assist in identifying potential opportunities for improvement.

  • Adhere to, advise, oversee, monitor and enforce enterprise frameworks and methodologies that relate to technology controls / Information Security activities.

  • Influence behavior to reduce risk and foster a strong technology risk management culture throughout the enterprise.

  • Prioritize and manage own workload to deliver quality results and meet assigned timelines

  • Establish effective relationships across multiple business and technology partners, programs and project managers.

Job Requirements

What can you bring to TD? Share your credentials, but your relevant experience and knowledge can be just as likely to get our attention. It helps if you have:

  • University Degree.
  • Information Security Certification or Accreditation an asset.
  • 2-3 years of relevant experience.
  • University Degree or two or more relevant Cyber Security certifications such as GCIH, GSEC, Security+, SSCP.

  • 1 to 2 years of relevant experience.

  • Familiarity of IT security and Incident Management practices across multiple domains.

  • Familiarity with Incident Management and Cybersecurity protection tooling and technologies (ex. SIEM, EDR, XDR, Firewall, WAF)

  • Strong desire to learn within IT and Cybersecurity.

  • Ability to support a lead in technology controls and Information Security for project teams, the business, organization and outside vendors.

  • Must be eligible for employment under regulatory standards applicable to the position.

  • Qualifications
    Here are the preferred qualifications for this role:

    -Experience as an Incident responder working on complex Information Security and cybercrime-related incidents, requiring coordination with internal and external enterprise teams, as well as third parties, vendors, partners, etc.
    -Experience working events and incidents related to Layer 7/application attacks.
    -Experience developing briefing material for executives related to cybercrime and Information Security incident triage, Incident Containment, and incident recovery.
