Brief Overview:
Under the direction of the Deputy Chief-Infrastructure &/or the Infrastructure Manager, the Infrastructure Operations and Maintenance Technician will be responsible for ongoing maintenance, renovations, and construction projects as identified by the MNS.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in inspecting buildings, equipment, and appliances for functionality, checking for faults, and repairing as required.
Assist in ensuring that properties are safe and void of any danger to their occupants, visitors, and workers.
Assist in diagnosing problems with lands, and buildings and facilitate and conduct their prompt repairs for the convenience of property users.
Assist all aspects of construction and renovation projects from start to finish. Main duties include hiring and training labourers and sub-trades, identifying and vetting subcontractors, applying for the necessary licenses, and building permits, and providing hands-on supervision and guidance to workers on the site.
Assist in designing plans and schedules for works to be executed on properties.
Assist in the development of MNS Bison pasture, facilities, and animal handling requirements.
Other duties as assigned.
