Live Well Active Therapy is a Multi-Disciplinary practice aiming to help people get back to their best. We have an experienced Massage Therapist and and Laser Therapy is a big part of our practice. We have just added Athletic Therapy and a rehab exercise room to our new facility as well.

We are growing so quickly that we need a Practice Assistant to join our team for the summer!

We are looking for an Practice Assistant who is willing to take on a variety of responsibilities in order to support our small but dynamic staff. The ideal candidate will have a background in Healthcare, enjoy working as part of a team, and be dedicated to providing excellent customer service.

This role is a 31hr/wk position that reports directly to Anita McLarry CLT (Certified Laser Therapist) and Dyan McKeown BSc. RMT CEO, while also working closely with other key members of the team. We currently work Monday - Thursday so you get to enjoy Fridays off for the summer.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• You are ready and willing to work with our therapists to assist in any way that is needed. Your primary role will be to carry out some reception as well as assist with Laser Therapy (you will be full trained in Laser Therapy onsite).
• You are skilled with following directions and time management.
• You are ready to be added to a dynamic team of professionals that work together to bring about positive patient outcomes.
• You are willing to be responsible for being accountable and successful.
• You are able to take initiative and be self motivated.
• You are skilled with computers (Quickbooks, Jane App, Social Media), talking on the phone and working with people one on one.
• You are interested in working in Healthcare and helping people live their best lives.
