Bobcaygeon Brewing Company is an expanding Craft Brewery currently located in Peterborough, Ontario, with an additional location under development in Bobcaygeon, Ontario. Bobcaygeon is entering its ninth year of operations and is looking to continue its growth in the local region and beyond by emphasizing our accessible, delicious beers and connection to the outdoors.
Who We Are Looking For – Position Summary
Bobcaygeon Brewing Company is currently seeking applicants for an Inside Sales Representative and Taproom employee. This is a permanent position with full time hours seasonally, part time the rest of the year.
During the peak spring and summer season, this will be a full-time position working 15-20 hours a week as an Inside Sales Representative and an additional 15-20 hours a week as a member of the Taproom and events staff. For the fall and winter seasons, there will be flexibility to continue in a part-time or hybrid part-time/full-time role according to business need.
The bulk of the time for this role will be spent at the Peterborough Brewery location, with additional time spent working at events (Farmers Markets, Beer Festivals) as needed.
Summary of Responsibilities
· Support the external sales team by making Inside Sales calls to new and existing LCBO, Licensee, Grocery, Agency and The Beer Store Customers.
· Utilize marketing initiatives to increase consumer loyalty and beer sales for all channels.
· Work with finance team to manage accounts receivables.
· Proudly represent the Bobcaygeon Brewing Company brand and ensure our vision and values are maintained in the marketplace.
· Provide regular updates to the VP, Sales on status, leads and growth.
· Assist in events by representing and promoting Bobcaygeon Brewing Company.
· Perform regular shifts in the Taproom
What You Need - Requirements
· Passion for craft beer
· Previous Inside Sales experience an asset
· Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office, ability to create and follow a daily call sheet.
· Self-starter and works well independently, with a strong work ethic
· Excellent time-management skills.
· Friendly, outgoing and passionate attitude
· Ability to work weekends and some evenings
· G License and clean drivers abstract
· Smart Serve certification
· Completion of post-secondary education is an asset
